Description:

The AI legislation coming into effect in Europe over the next few years brings with it various challenges, including the diverse requirements of different geographies and industries involved. The varied values and requirements of different regions and industries as reflected in their AI guidelines and regulatory laws, may not necessarily provide a practical means to reduce concrete risks such as cost, litigation, and other uncertainties across each aspect of development, delivery, regulation, etc. In this session, researchers and practitioners working on practical and technical methodologies, techniques, and tools for AI governance will give presentations and participate in discussions to share their views on the potential for joint-exploration of outcomes, delivery challenges, and expectations taking into consideration the perspectives of both government bodies as well as industries.
